Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl

Pick one of the following questions and write an essay of 1200-1500 words on the subject, with a well-crafted thesis defended with evidence and analysis in the body. 
1.) Harriet Jacobs focuses on her experiences as a female slave, rather than simply as a slave who happened to be female. According to her, how does her experience as an enslaved woman make her experience under slavery worse than what a male slave experienced?
2.) What is Jacob's relationship with other women in the narrative, and how are these relationships affected by slavery?
