Reflect on the information from this course and consider your personal ethics. What would you do in this situation? Why
I am not sure what I would do in this situation. I would like to think that I would drop everything including my goals to assist this individual and do everything possible to save his life; however if there was a clear leader present a leader who cautioned me against it for the greater well-being of the group and who informed me that the person would likely die anyway I am not sure. As more information is provided one way or the other I believe I might be swayed. I am not an expert on hypothermia mountain climbing or other such matters; however instinctually I know my first response would be to protect and save the Sidhu. Unfortunately because I would be traveling a group and not making a decision related simply to my own welfare the decision would become increasingly complex.
