You will create this assignment following the Assignment Detail instructions below. 

 Planning and Execution

  • How cohesive is your team? (Cohesion is a measurement of relationship, togetherness, and belongingness experienced by the team members.)
    • What evidence can you provide to support your conclusions about team cohesion? Are there any pieces of evidence that might contradict your conclusion?
    • How might you increase the amount of team cohesion (in essence, what intervention methods, such as role-playing and so forth, would you use)?
  • How productive is your team? (Productivity is a measurement of task fulfillment by team members.)
    • What evidence can you provide to support your conclusions about team productivity? Are there any pieces of evidence that might contradict your conclusion?
    • How might you increase the amount of team productivity (e.g., what intervention methods would you use)?
  • Who needs to be involved in the team development plan for it to be a success?
  • What is the time frame for implementing your plan?

Prepare a 5-page team plan that addresses the following issues:

  • What is the organization you are working with (to remind your readers)?
  • What is the team cohesion need that should be addressed, and what is the intervention for that need?
  • What is the team productivity need that should be addressed, and what is the intervention for that need?
  • Who will need to participate (at any level) in the training and development initiative?
  • When will the initiative take place?
  • What is the basic schedule for rolling out your initiative?

Assignment Details

Solar Inc. Corporation has decided to begin expanding globally within the next 18 months. The decision to expand includes the caveat that the expansion will take place in either Canada or Mexico. As the newly appointed manager of global expansion operations, you have been asked to provide a presentation of your expansion recommendation on which country should be first. Your proposal should be based on your review of the challenges and opportunities of each country. Your presentation must discuss the political, economic, and cultural challenges and opportunities.

Create a recommendation presentation that includes the following:

  1. General description of cultural, economic, and political challenges and opportunities (6 slides minimum), devoting at least 1 slide for each of the following points:

The Process

Creating an annotated bibliography calls for the application of a variety of intellectual skills: concise exposition, succinct analysis, and informed library research.

First, locate and record citations to books, periodicals, and documents that may contain useful information and ideas on your topic. Briefly examine and review the actual items. Then choose those works that provide a variety of perspectives on your topic.

Cite the book, article, or document using the appropriate style.

Write a concise annotation that summarizes the central theme and scope of the book or article. Include one or more sentences that (a) evaluate the authority or background of the author, (b) comment on the intended audience, (c) compare or contrast this work with another you have cited, or (d) explain how this work illuminates your bibliography topic.

Survey Method and Questions

 This assignment consists of two parts. 

Part 1) For each of the quantitative research objectives listed below:

  1. Identify variables to be measured.
  2. Develop a minimum of four (4) sample questions to be included in the questionnaire.
  3. Identify how each question will be scored.
  4. Identify the level of measurement for each question.
  5. Recommend a method of survey administration to be used.

  1. To determine if advertising during the Super Bowl is effective in increasing consumers product awareness. Use a product of your choosing. State the name of the product that was advertised.  
  2. To determine patient satisfaction of patients who are admitted to a hospital during the past 6 months.
  3. To determine if there is a relationship between the decision to pursue a career in law enforcement and gender.
  4. To determine IT professionals perceptions of the best preparation for an IT career.

Explain the method of survey administration you would use if a survey was conducted in your intended research.

FAS 202 Milestone Two

 Prompt: For Milestone Two, you will compose a rough draft of Sections IIV of the final project. Provide as many details as possible, addressing each of the  following major headings: Introduction, Visual and Historical Analysis, and Comparative Analysis. In addition, address the Parallels section by introducing a third, contemporary work of art (created within the past 20 years) or social construct and explaining how that work parallels the relationship between the two pieces  previously selected. This third work could belong to any genre of the arts or even a contemporary social construct such as reality television or social media. For  example, you could consider the presentation of self as a relevant and recurring theme on Facebook today.  

FAS 202 Milestone One

 : For Milestone One, you will introduce the works you have selected to analyze. First, choose a pair of works from the List of Comparisons (linked to in  your online course). PLEASE CHOOSE “SELF PORTRAIT” T BY JUDITH AND THE TWO FRIDAS BY FRIDA KAHLO. Works must be chosen from this list of comparisons. For each work, include an image of the work and one paragraph that identifies the  artist, title (in italics), date, medium, dimensions, stylistic movement, cultural origin, and current collection (i.e., Where the work is housed? This could be a museum, a gallery, or a private collection). Finally, formulate a main argument/thesis statement in which you explain the relationship between your chosen works. You will also  want to think ahead to the final project and find a third, contemporary popular culture reference or work of art that connects to this theme and the two historical works of art.
