Week 6 Discussion – Division of Labor

Chapter 9 in the eBook states ” linkages show the lines of responsibility through which a supervisor delegates authority to subordinates, oversees their activities, evaluates their performance, and guides them toward improvement when necessary.”  Understanding these linkages helps managers better organize the different functions within an organization.  Select an organization or firm that you are familiar or associated with and describe two formal linkages and one informal linkage that can be encountered.

Were these formal linkages horizontal or vertical? Do you feel these observed divisions of labor were efficient? Explain why or why not?

Did the informal linkage have an influence on the operation? Explain why or why not?

Usability Evaluation examines the way users interact with products and services in order to achieve a goal. Often times, there are measures that are tied to those goals that are quantified. For this assignment, you are asked to explore the assigned topic. You are to conduct an analytical research review of the usability category/dimension above in the context of USABILITY EXCLUSIVELY!!! . Write a paper that consist of the following: 

• Literature Review of Term 
  • Must provide a minimum three sources that analyze the term and its meaning
  • Must analyze and compare the term and how it was evaluated by the authors / scholars in each study
  • Must evaluate the study method used to complete the analysis.

 Develop/discuss a Microsoft Project Gantt chart detailing the tasks/subtasks, dependencies, resources for the project. Ensure you have an adequate number of tasks/subtasks for the project. Ensure task/subtasks names are appropriate, dependencies make sense, timeframes make sense, milestones, etc as your build out your project schedule Gantt chart. Must submit the actual MS Project file.

What Is a Gantt Chart?

A Gantt chart is a diagram that combines nested lists, bar charts, and timelines. Typically, a list of tasks appears on the left of the chart. A project timeline, usually showing days or weeks, spans the rest of the chart to the right of the task list. In this way, the Gantt chart offers an overview of the sequence of tasks, critical task dependencies, and overall project duration.

A Gantt chart is commonly used in project management because it can easily show activities such as tasks and their dependencies in relation to time. Advanced software components and modern web technology enable project managers to generate dynamic Gantt charts. 

Write a 1,400- to 2,100-word Project Implementation Plan for the project your Learning Team selected in Wk 2. This will also be used for the final implementation plan for the Project Selection Paper assignment. Part 1 of the plan must include the following sections:

• Human Resources Plan: This plan should include roles and responsibilities, a project organization chart, and a staffing management plan. Your plan should:
• Analyze the roles and responsibilities in the following areas: Role, Authority, Responsibility, and Competency that are needed to complete a project.
• Include a project organization chart that displays project team members and their reporting relationships.
• Provide a staffing management plan that includes how human resource management requirements will be met by including when and how project team members will be acquired and how long they will be needed.
• Quality Management Plan: This plan should include the quality management plan for implementing the organization’s quality policy and the quality metrics. Your plan should:
• Examine how the organization’s quality policies will be implemented.
• Explain how the project management team plans to meet the quality requirements set for the project.
• Procurement Plan: This plan should identify the types of external resources that must be secured, the process for selecting and managing these external resources, and the metrics to evaluate the external resources. Your plan should:
• Describe how a project team will acquire goods and services from outside the performing organization.
• Evaluate how the procurement processes will be managed from developing procurement documents through contract closure.

Format your Project Implementation Plan consistent with APA guidelines. Tables may be used to format and organize the implementation plan. They can be included within the plan rather than at the end as normally required by APA guidelines.

The introduction was good

organization and flow was fair, Instructions were fair. analysis and  synthesis was excellent

Scholarly literature was excellent, APA Style and formatting was poor mistakes made throughout document,. The above was the feedback from the professor that needs to improve. My evaluation report is on children aged 3-11 with anxiety and adults 65 and older with opoid addiction
