Literature Review – 3 pages

I have attached the Question and answer (literature review) i want to you to do additional research and make this work more quality and i want the work to be plagiarism free (zero) – Industry – Retail industry

For milestone , you will create the literature review (2-3 pages) of your portfolio project. Here are some resources to complete a literature review:

Tieout and sources of financial statements (10-K)

Below is my assignment to show the tieout and sources for each transaction. I have attached the screenshot of example on how it should look like.

Summary:

You will submit an Excel file that provides the tieout and sources for the selected/marked items in the attached file, which includes financial statements and MD&A.

Details:

(1) Create a column with the marked item within your Excel. There are 27 total questions (one post-it has 2 questions within so there is 1 less post it than total questions).

(2) Create a column (or two/more if needed) to provide the source of the disclosure. This could be, for a few examples: (A) directly from the income statement, balance sheet, or statement of cash flow (B) a calculation year over year to show an increase or decrease (C) an amount derived from using two financial statement amounts, such as cash flows less capital expenditures.

(3) You can use review notes or an additional column for text explanation. Review notes are handy and useful for highlighting an item. However to format the text, copy it and reuse it, or see it while using the spreadsheet, a separate column is likely more effective when explanatory comments are warranted

(4) If you desire, downloading the financials from Mergent into Excel on a separate tab may make the process much more efficient as you can then simply calculate within the spreadsheet. I must be able to review the formulas for grading, so if this is not utilized explanatory comments should be given for your calculations. Use tools such as trace dependents and precedents, absolute referencing, and others to make the tieout easier for you. These financials were obtained from Mergent. If you prefer better formatted financials to read than Mergent, you can find the 10K publicly available online.

Tax Rules of Renting Out Your Vacation Home

This is an older, brief, article in the WSJ but it coincides well with the taxation of rental properties.

Review the article and submit a brief paragraph response.

6. Assignment: Analysis of Variation and Chi-Squared Analysis

Getting Started

Sometimes we have many alternatives from which to choose. Evaluating these choices in order to make the best decision usually involved comparing the choices against each other. The workshop gives you two tools that can be used for this purpose.  Analysis of Variance allows you to compare two or more variables that are numerical and normally distributed. Chi-Square Analysis allows you to compare two or more variables that are categorical or are numerical, but not normally distributed.

Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to:

  • Develop research and data analytical skills for use in solving business problems.
  • Assess research methodologies for applicability to research projects.

Background Information

Comparing two or more sets of data against each other or examining them to determine if a relationship exists is a common task for the researcher.

Instructions

  1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
  2. Read chapters XVI, XVII, and XIX in the online . Watch the videos and powerpoints that go with each chapter.
  3. Review the database . Describe the limitations that may exist if this database is used as a sample of all North Carolina births.
  4. Conduct an examination of the impact of smoking and marital status on birthweight using Analysis of Variance as described in chapter XV of the online textbook.
  5. Construct a chi-square analysis of the relationship between smoking and ethnicity as described in chapter XVII of the online textbook.
  6. Write a short report (1 to 2 pages for each variable) that includes the results of your analysis and answers the following questions:
    1. Write a research question appropriate for each analysis.
    2. What is the null and alternative hypothesis for each analysis?
    3. What were the results of each analysis? Describe what relationships, if any, were significant and the decision made concerning the null hypothesis.
  7. When you have completed your assignment, submit a copy to your instructor using the Assignment submission page.
  8. The assignment is due by the end of the workshop.

5 Assignment: Linear Regression and Time Studies

Getting Started

Linear regression is one of the most common yet powerful statistical tools because it allows you to make predictions of a dependent variable based upon an independent variable i.

Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to:

  • Develop regression models and predict future values.

Background Information

There have been many pronouncements that have been made regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. This assignment will show you how you can examine the data for yourself, and make your own decisions concerning how well the country is coping with the pandemic.

Instructions

  1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
  2. Read chapters IV, and XIV, in the online . Watch the videos and powerpoints that go with each chapter.
  3. Go to  website and download the data for all states.
  4. Sort the data by states and find the date for your state of residence.
  5. Create a new column AR in the database labeled % positive. The formula to calculate % positive should be = AD1/AP1. Format the cell for percentage. Copy the cell down the column for all dates of your state.
  6. Create a new column AS in the database labeled % tested. From the  website, determine the population of your state. The formula to calculate % tested should be = AH1/the population of your state. Format the cell for percentage. Copy the cell down the column for all dates of your state.
  7. Using the data, develop a linear regression time series analysis for deaths (column D), % tested, and % positive. Answer the following questions:
    1. What is the null and alternative hypothesis for each variable?
    2. What was the r squared for each variable? What does this mean?
    3. What was the p-value of each test? What does this mean?
    4. For those tests which were significant, use the model to predict the value of the variable seven days after the end of the workshop.
  8. Write a short report (1 to 2 pages for each variable) that includes the results of your analysis. Present the results and discuss the implications of your findings. Include whatever graphs or statistical output you may have generated in answering these questions along with a short explanation of your analysis. What conclusions concerning COVID19 may you draw from your analysis?
  9. When you have completed your assignment, submit a copy to your instructor using the Assignment submission page.
  10. The assignment is due by the end of the workshop.

4. Assignment: Is There a Difference?

Getting Started

You have come up with a great new idea for a  product and are thinking about starting your own business. Your idea is an automatic pet groomer! We have robotic carpet vacuums, why not one that every six weeks or so bathe, cuts hair, and trim nails for the household pet!

You have solved the technical problems, but are not sure if it is economically feasible. Your analysis suggests that if the average citizen of the nearest major city to you spends at least $ 100 every three months on pet grooming your product will be an enormous success. You have conducted a survey to gather data, but do not know what to do next. In this workshop, you will learn how to create hypotheses for research testing and how to test those hypotheses about the population. Using these methods, you can see if your idea has any potential or not

Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to:

  • Make statistical comparisons between data sets.

Background Information

As you were thinking about your hopeful new business, it occurred to you that the nearest city to you may not be the best place, that some other city might be a better place to start this business. So in addition to the data on your nearest city, you also collected data from another larger city in your region. Comparing two or more sets of data is a common task in data analytics. In this workshop, you will learn how to write hypotheses, and also learn how to examine data between two different variables. So using these techniques, you may be able to make an informed decision concerning the viability of your new business opportunity and if one city is better than the other

Instructions

  1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
  2. Read chapters XI, and XII, and XIII in the online . Watch the videos and powerpoints that go with each chapter.
  3. Examine the  database. Pick three of the following research questions:
    1. Is there a relationship between a mothers age and the birth weight of her child?
    2. Is there a relationship between whether a mother smokes or not and the birth weight of her child?
    3. Is the birthweight of babies from white moms different than those from nonwhite moms?
    4. Is there a relationship between the mothers weight gain during pregnancy and the birth weight of her child?
    5. Is there a relationship between the mothers marital status and the birth weight of her child?
    6. Is there a relationship between the mothers age and her marital status?
    7. Is there a relationship between the fathers age and the mothers marital status?
  4. Find two published articles dealing with each of your selected questions. Write a one-paragraph summary of what each article says about your research question.
  5. Determine the mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and variance as applicable for the variables involved in your study. Provide a graphical analysis for the variables that cannot have numerical statistics calculated.
  6. Determine the type of test you will use for each of your research questions and the null and alternative hypothesis for each question.
  7. Conduct the appropriate statistical tests at the .05 significance level.
  8. Write a short report ( 1 to 2 pages for each research question) that includes the results of your analysis. Present the results and discuss the implications of your findings. Include whatever graphs or statistical output you may have generated in answering these questions along with a short explanation of your analysis. Are your results consistent with the published research on the topic? Why or why not?
  9. When you have completed your assignment, submit a copy to your instructor using the Assignment submission page.
  10. The assignment is due by the end of the workshop.

I’m Working On This Question And I Need A Sample Draft To Help Me Study

 500 words minimum 2 references

To what degree can research within the social science be considered “scientific?”  What does it mean for a line of research to be “scientific?” What are some of the challenges that coincide with carrying out scientific research?  Your posts this week should demonstrate critical reflection upon the assigned readings.

Interprofessional Organizational and Systems Leadership

Quite often, nurse leaders are faced with ethical dilemmas, such as those associated with choices between competing needs and limited resources. Resources are finite, and competition for those resources occurs daily in all organizations.

For example, the use of 12-hour shifts has been a strategy to retain nurses. However, evidence suggests that as nurses work more hours in a shift, they commit more errors. How do effective leaders find a balance between the needs of the organization and the needs of ensuring quality, effective, and safe patient care?

In this Discussion, you will reflect on a national healthcare issue and examine how competing needs may impact the development of polices to address that issue.

To Prepare:

  • Review the Resources and think about the national healthcare issue/stressor you previously selected for study in Module 1.
  • Reflect on the competing needs in healthcare delivery as they pertain to the national healthcare issue/stressor you previously examined.

I’m Working On This Question And I Need A Sample Draft To Help Me Study

Comments :

I believe it is important to study these application software. Almost most if not all companies, schools, jobs use these software. It is easier for them to use the software because it can be sent and used anywhere in the world. You are better able to organize and it is always easier to open and change if something is wrong or needs to be edited. It is very important to use because there always more to learn and it is a very good teaching tool to use. In schools Microsoft Office has been used and the quality for presentations has been better and the different tools to use while using MS Word is great. The different designs are awesome to use to spice up the words or the designs on either applications. So in my opinion yes, I think these software are very important.

In the modern days those two tools offer for Microsoft office Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point are very important and help full. You can used for personal purpose and business too, in the personal purpose for example with Microsoft Word application you can write a report or redacting a complete investigation for any of your classes, or a resume for job application.

With Microsoft Power Point application is very help full for example in your job, because you can make and organized in slides a presentation of a new project, in administration department a complete and detailed budget month by month of the all company or a specific department.

The fact is that these applications are very helpfully because like I said before can help you a maintaining and organized all your data in same place your computer.
