Write a 750-1000 word statistical laboratory report using the guidelines in the assigned article, “How to Write a Statistical Report.” This statistical report is not meant to be an APA report or a multiple-page scholarly treatise. The goal is that you become familiar with the formal report format that you will use whenever you are reporting statistical analysis. The report format includes the following sections: Abstract, Purpose, Methods, and Results. Assume that you are asked to perform an exploratory data analysis in which the emphasis is to compare the difference between the body mass index (BMI) values of men and women. Use Excel to create reports and run analyses on the data for the Data Set 1,(as attachment in Excel sheet). Assume you are a biostatistics analyst and you received a request from the director of the nutrition program to perform the analysis. The director is developing an obesity program for the state and has obtained the data set from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). Because it has been some time since the director has had a statistics course, any points that would make your analysis easier to understand would be appreciated. Generate appropriate histograms or box plots. Find appropriate statistics that will help to understand the data set. Are there any notable features? Are there any outliers? Describe the key elements of center, variation, distribution, and outliers. A minimum of three scholarly references are required. While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines.

Autoethnography on Foodways An autoethnography is an approach to research and writing that seeks to describe and systematically analyze (graphy) personal experience (auto) in order to understand cultural experience (ethno).[1] You will be analyzing your own relationship to foodyour beliefs and behaviorsand how those relate to larger cultural patterns, or folkways. This exercise will be three paragraphs: 1. A description of you and your food. Summarize the main food-related folkways you practice. Some examples could be that you eat mostly fast food, which you pay for with the money you earn at your job; you eat mainly home-cooked meals that you or someone else prepares and pays for; you eat what your family eats; you eat certain kinds of food because you have moral or ethical concerns about eating other foods; you eat certain kinds of food because you believe them to be healthy; you eat popular, trendy, or exotic foods for new experiences. (These are just examples to get you thinking about your relationship to food and why you behave the way you do.) The main components of this paragraph: sentences about WHAT and HOW you eat and WHY you do it that way. This paragraph is about you. 2. Describe your assumptions about how people in general in the U.S. eat. This will include a description of mainstream U.S. society (what does mainstream mean?), but also should address specific groups within U.S. society. For example: think about the identity markers of race/ethnicity, class, and gender. How do your ideas and behaviors concerning food relate to larger patterns in society? What ethnic or national folkways do you participate in? How does your class background influence the types of foods available to you or the choices you make? How does your gender influence your relationship to food preparation and consumption? More generally, are there current movements, such as the Slow Food movement or the Buy USA movement, that you sympathize with? The main components of this paragraph: a sentence defining and listing mainstream U.S. foodways, sentences about how you participate in mainstream foodways, and sentences about how your race/ethnicity, class, and gender influence your participation in U.S. foodways. This paragraph is about you in relation to U.S. society. 3. Reflect on your relationship to food. Is there anything you want to change about your food-related folkways? Why or why not? Main components of this paragraph: sentences describing your reasons for or against changing your foodways. What do you value or prioritize in life, and how is that reflected (or not) in your ideas and behaviors about food?

This Wikipedia page concerns denazification of Germany, including overview, applications, implications, aftermaths, and etc.
This page contains a back-and-forth debate related surrounding the following topic: should Auschwitz be preserved or abandoned?
. Topic of Discussion:
Should Fuhrerbunker be preserved in manner similar to Auschwitz?
2. In this presentation, I will talk about:
? Unlike many WWII architectures (e.g. Museum of the Defense and Siege of Leningrad) and artifacts (e.g. USS Missouri), most Nazi architectures have been deliberately demolished, including the Fuhrerbunker, the supposedly final resting place for Adolf Hitler. This presentation explores the underlying reasons that led to remarkable variation in treatment between former Nazi landmarks and WWII architectures elsewhere, which for the better part had been permanently preserved. Furthermore, it is important to notice that great variation in terms of treatments exists among even amongst former Nazi landmarks; Auschwitz for example available for the public to visit. Given the historical significance of Fuhrebunker, is it not appropriate to make it a memorial that reminds us of the war crimes that Nazis committed? This presentation argues that demolition of Nazi landmarks is an integral part of denazification, and whether former concentration camps including Auschwitz should remain standing has become questionable.
? The denazification bears important historical and practical significances in post WWII Germany. From historical perspective, the loser status of Germany and the war-crimes committed by the Nazi party were both good reasons for former Nazi landmarks to be demolished in post WWII era. Compared to USS Missouri for example, whether memories derived from Nazi landmarks deserve to be preserved is…

United States V. Young

Defendants were guilty of mail fraud and other violations. Why would they be convicted on multiple counts, rather than just one count for their illegal activity? Is that just piling on more punishment for the same event?
Solution Preview:

This case talks about a cattle rancher and Mc Connell who is an accountant. They are involved in many business related to cattle for more than 10 years. They had more assets than they represented. They took funds from banks and their clients to invest further. The situation arises when the price of cattle goes down in the year 2001 and they file a case of bankruptcy as they closed their business. The claim of cattle done by them is 343000 but they owned only 17000 of them. Banks lost $36 million and investors lost $147 million. Later on they admitted their mistake of claiming more. They were guilty of mail fraud and other violations. They should not be convicted for more multiple counts than one count for their illegal activity. Yes there is a piling on more punishment for the same event. Here in this case, sentencing guidelines are applied. Cattle rancher was sentenced to 108 months in prison and McConnell to 87 months. These sentences are imposed by the judges for criminal law violation. Earlier when these sentences were proposed, there were supporters as judges were easy on the punishment. Some judges were tough on punishment. It was unfair to treat the same crime with different punishments. Hence, later the Supreme Court made these guidelines advisory than mandatory. In this case also there is no proper application of the punishment. There is a piling of punishment for the same event.
