Most criminal justice experts argue that the correctional system is the forgotten branch of the criminal justice system.  Budget cuts often are directed at correctional facilities, and rehabilitation efforts can be difficult to find.  Two questions for the criminal justice system become, what happens with people when they are released from prison? and Have prisoners benefitted from their time being warehoused, or do they become better criminals by learning from their peers?  Utilizing at least two, scholarly outside sources, detail statistics from your home state for recidivism rates.  Write a 2-3 page paper that offers innovative, realistic solutions which would help reduce recidivism rates for people release from prison.

Spend time organizing the data. You should spend time organizing the data by themes. Themes are organized ways of demonstrating patterns of social behavior. It is very useful to think of a title to give each theme you notice. Once you have done this, you should pick bits of data that help to demonstrate themes. For example, you might want to pull certain quotes to provide an example of a certain theme, or focus on particular events or interactions from your interviews.  Then you should spend some time trying to analyze and interpret the evidence. Throughout this process, you need to provide the reader with examples from your data to support your analysis.
