Watch the video, then evaluate the speech by addressing the following:

  • Audience: What was the speaker’s target audience? How do you know?
  • Introduction: Identify the speaker’s attention-getter, topic, and thesis. Did the attention-getter grab your interest? Why or why not? What was the speaker’s thesis or central idea?
  • Body: How did the speaker support her claim (thesis)?
  • Conclusion: Did the speaker end strongly? Why or why not?
  • Presentation Aids: Describe the presentation aids used by the speaker. Were they effective? Why or why not?
  • Delivery: Evaluate the delivery of the speech. What was done particularly well?

  1. Explain the agonist-to-antagonist spectrum of action of psychopharmacologic agents, including how partial and inverse agonist functionality may impact the efficacy of psychopharmacologic treatments.
  2. Compare and contrast the actions of g couple proteins and ion gated channels.
  3. Explain how the role of epigenetics may contribute to pharmacologic action.
  4. Explain how this information may impact the way you prescribe medications to patients. Include a specific example of a situation or case with a patient in which the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner must be aware of the medications action.

Engineering Ethics

write one-to-two-page paper (not including title page or references, submit as a Word document).  Use Times New Roman or Calibri, font size 12, one-inch margins, double-spaced.  Dont forget to cite inside the paper.  Be sure to include references at the end.

Philosophers and ethicists distinguish between the descriptive (what we can do) and the prescriptive (what we should do). This is sometimes called the is-ought gap. One does not imply the other: just because we can do something doesnt mean we should.

For this weeks assignment, you will conduct research into technologies that currently are in uncharted moral territory.

The first section should be a brief description of the technology you have identified. What is it, and how does it work?

The second section should be the main focus. You will answer the following questions:

What are two distinct moral questions that it raises? (think of the concepts covered in the lesson)

How have the experts tried to answer them?

 Are their answers acceptable?

Should we be optimistic or pessimistic about the future of this technology?

By way of example, you might write about autonomous vehicle technology and the decision-making procedure a computer is programmed to take .

Make sure that you justify your answers. Do not just give your opinion.

Here are some other examples you might consider:

Smart assistants (e.g. Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri)

Smart devices (e.g. Apple Watch, Smart glasses, RFID body implants)

Reproductive technology (e.g. transitioning for transgender individuals)

Human genetic engineering / GMOs / Genetically engineered animals

 DNA ancestry testing (e.g. 23andMe, Ancestry.com, MyHeritage)

You are free to pick your own example, but it must be something that is currently in moral limbo.

” The skills in the therapeutic process”.

The students must make a Powerpoint with the following topic ” The skills in the therapeutic process. Define concepts and applications. At the end of the Powerpoint explain the importance of the skills in the therapeutic process.

Discussion Oral in class to make a comparison with the use of these skills in your practice scenario and mention those aspects that you consider are right and which are not and how you would use them.

Genetic engineering has become a part of our culture, and it is difficult to tell the difference between unmodified and genetically modified food sources, such as plants and animals. After reading this module’s material regarding vectors in biotechnology, consider the potential for nanotechnology and gene therapy.

For your initial discussion post, research nanotechnology and its potential use in biotechnology. Explain the potential advantages and disadvantages of nanotechnology in healthcare and discuss whether you would or would not support further research.

HEMM

Give an explanation of the specific socioeconomic, spiritual, lifestyle, and other cultural factors associated with the patient. Explain the issues that you would need to be sensitive to when interacting with the patient, and why. Provide at least five targeted questions you would ask the patient to build his or her health history and to assess his or her health risks.

Week 10 discussion

Describe pro forma income and the importance of pro forma income in the  evaluation of the income statement.

Choose at least two items that are  excluded from pro forma income. Suggest to management why including the  items would be misleading to investors and creditors.

Compare the difference between a point mutation and a frameshift mutation:

Describe the different between vertical gene transfer and horizontal gene transfer:

What is conjugation?  How can it contribute to antibiotic resistance in microorganisms?

What is a Healthcare-associated infection (HAI) or nosocomial infection?  How is this different from an iatrogenic disease?  How are these infections? Contracted?  Give examples of each type:

Explain market segmentation; provide an example of a product that has been segmented. How does product segmentation impact the product life cycle? Next, using the same concepts behind market segmentation, discuss the differences between geographic, demographic, behavioral and psychographic segmentation. Include an explanation about why segmenting markets is a smart strategic move.

Week 6.2 Discussion

What is meant by target marketing? Why is target marketing a smart strategic move? Share an example of target marketing in action youve observed in your personal or professional experience. How does your experience illustrate the effectiveness of target marketing?
